Follows a beautiful creek flowing from the spillway, with small waterfalls throughout. You'll hear the sound of rushing water the entire hike. Wide and fairly easy to walk.
Trailhead starts either below the hydro-electric dam or at the east end of the spillway in Beavers Bend State Park. About 12 minutes from the cabin.
Hiking boots or sturdy shoes recommended—no sandals or slick-soled shoes.
Water, snacks, and insect repellent. Cell service can be limited.
